He has been practicing across the full spectrum of intellectual property law at Rothwell Figg for over 25 years with a focus on patent infringement litigation. He has particular expertise in Hatch-Waxman litigation and related issues, having litigated more than 50 Hatch-Waxman cases and in many, serving as lead trial counsel. He also has participated in numerous appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Joe handles cases covering a broad range of pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, telecommunications, chemical, e-commerce, and electrical technologies, among others.
Danny, first listed in Best Lawyers in 2007, is recognized in the 2018 edition in the practice areas of Biotechnology Law, Litigation – Intellectual Property, Litigation – Patent, and Patent Law. He is involved in all phases of intellectual property law, including United States and foreign patent prosecution, litigation in the federal courts, licensing, and general client counseling. He has extensive experience with patent interferences and inter partes proceedings at the Patent Office, with particular expertise in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Danny is a former chemist for The Gillette Research Institute.
