E. Anthony Figg, Steven Lieberman, Joseph Hynds, Martin Zoltick, and R. Danny Huntington are included in the 2021 rankings of Managing IP’s IP Stars, a guide to senior practitioners who have been recommended or identified as leaders in their firm and jurisdiction.
The five attorneys from Rothwell Figg included the guide are ranked as Patent Stars in the District of Columbia. Additionally, Steven is ranked as a Trademark Star and a Copyright Star in the District of Columbia.
Managing IP published its first legal directory in 1994 and rebranded it in 2013 as IP STARS. The publication quickly established itself as the leading specialist guide to IP law firms and practitioners worldwide. The research for IP STARS is conducted over a six-month period, starting from September each year. IP STARS covers a variety of IP practice areas and more than 70 jurisdictions, making it the most comprehensive and widely respected guide in the IP profession. To arrive at their rankings, IP Stars obtains information from thousands of practitioners/firms and their clients through interviews, emails, and online surveys. The research analysts review all the information and conduct their own independent research, including an analysis of publicly available information (such as court or IP office data) and previous research data, before producing the rankings. Where appropriate, they can rely on independent research findings alone to rank practitioners and/or firms.
