Partner R. Danny Huntington recently spoke on a panel discussion called “Patent Pendulum, product of changes in the position of the U.S. Supreme Court and its impact in our countries" at the XIX Congress of ASIPI (Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property) in Cartagena, Columbia in early December. His remarks included pointing out a number of ways in which the new proceedings at the USPTO’s Board of Patent Appeals are biased against patent owners.
