Partner Dan Shores will moderate a panel titled "The Impact and Future of RNA Therapeutics" at a New England Healthcare Executive Network (NEHEN) program in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 8, 2023.
In this program, the expert panel including Dan, Philip DeSouza, M.D. of Newpath Partners, L.P., Jaspreet Khurana, Ph.D. of Strand Therapeutics, and Karl Ruping of Tiba Biotech will discuss the impact and future of mRNA technology, including a keynote address from Dr. Brett Leav from Moderna, who will discuss his experiences being on the front lines of the rollout of his company’s vaccine during the pandemic. In addition, the discussion will involve an overview of the landscape for RNA-based medicines beyond the COVID vaccines, critical intellectual property issues facing this market, and investments for breakthrough therapies. Following the overview, there will be an open moderated Q&A discussion where audience comments and questions will be essential to the conversation.
