Partner Martin Zoltick ("Marty") will speak at the Licensing Executives Society Japan (LES Japan) Monthly Seminar in Tokyo on "The Evolving Legal Landscape: Privacy, Data Protection, and Cybersecurity," on November 13, 2019.
Marty's presentation will cover an overview of privacy and data protection; recent developments in data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI); industry and technology-specific data privacy considerations; and compliance strategies and framework for risk management.
LES Japan is one of the member societies of Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), an international organization made up of 32 national/regional societies and with more than 10,000 members.
