Douglas Choi focuses his practice on patent proceedings in the electrical and computer engineering field. He has experience in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications for domestic and foreign based clients. Additionally, he has experience in post grant proceedings including inter partes reviews and covered business method reviews.

Mr. Choi’s patent prosecution experience covers a broad range of technologies including wireless communication systems and methods, digital signal and image processing, satellite networks, semiconductor devices and manufacturing, and internet-based commerce and security software.

Mr. Choi has worked in Intellectual Property law firms and groups in the United States and in Korea. Prior to law school, he also served as a research engineer for LG Electronics in Korea, where he primarily focused on improving the capacity and performance of Global DTV transceiver IP using Verilog and FPGA verification.
