Rothwell Figg Attorneys Continue to be Named Among the Nation’s Best

Rothwell Figg is pleased to announce that E. Anthony Figg, Joseph A. Hynds and R. Danny Huntington once again have been included in The Best Lawyers in America®, named in the 23rd edition for 2017.

Mr. Figg was first recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in 2008. He specializes in intellectual property law, primarily involving the chemical, pharmaceutical, health care and biotechnology industries. His practice focuses on patent litigation and interferences, patent procurement, intellectual property licensing and related contract matters, and opinions and counseling. He has particular expertise in Hatch-Waxman litigation and related issues. Mr. Figg has served as lead counsel in complex patent litigations in federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, as well as appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Mr. Figg is recognized by Best Lawyers for his work in litigation (both intellectual property and patent litigation), patent law and trademark law.

Mr. Hynds, first recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in 2007, practices across the full spectrum of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on patent infringement litigation. Mr. Hynds has particular expertise in Hatch-Waxman litigation and related issues. He has served as lead counsel in complex patent litigations in federal district courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and has handled cases covering a broad range of pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, telecommunications, chemical, e-commerce and electrical technologies. Mr. Hynds also has participated in numerous appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Huntington is involved in all phases of intellectual property law, including patent litigation, post grant proceedings, patent procurement, IP transactions, opinions and counseling. He has extensive patent interference experience, with particular experience in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, and was a chemist for The Gillette Research Institute.
